Robert Hiemstra joins Stampa’s Amsterdam team

Robert Hiemstra

Stampa is delighted to welcome Robert Hiemstra as Senior Account Director.

Robert was one of our original colleagues when we launched, and after several stints in other strategic communications and content roles, he’s returned to strengthen Stampa’s Amsterdam team.

Robert is an experienced and versatile professional who provides expert support across a wide range of PR and communication challenges. He began his career as a journalist for Betten Beursmedia News and De Financieel Economische Tijd, and later became editor-in-chief of Beleggers Belangen and Beursplein 5, Dutch weeklies for private investors. For the past 15 years, Robert has led the editorial team at Rendement Uitgeverij, a publisher of more than 20 trade magazines for SMEs.

A seasoned advisor, editor and writer, Robert has a knack for translating complex ideas into engaging narratives. He’s gained valuable experience in the financial and investment sectors, as well as in SME publishing, sustainability communications, and corporate thought leadership.

“With a background in journalism – like so many of us at Stampa – Robert brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and creativity to our dynamic team. His return is a boost as we grow our portfolio of domestic and international clients. We’re honoured to welcome him back to Stampa.”

Jos Havermans, co-founder and director.

Commenting on joining Stampa, Robert says: “It feels great to be back at Stampa after so many years. The portfolio hasn’t just grown – it’s become much broader, which I find exciting. I’m looking forward to collaborating with both familiar and new colleagues on inspiring accounts. I also hope to contribute to Stampa’s continued growth.”

Stampa’s international team now includes 23 communications professionals in Amsterdam, London and Brussels, serving some of Europe’s leading international companies, including Signify, ING, Prosus, TenneT, Vanguard, LGIM, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and BDR Thermea Group.
