The client

Brabant Innovation Days (BID) is an international platform that connects the Brabant high-tech innovation ecosystem with leading technology hubs around the world. Led by the Province of North Brabant and its ecosystem partners in the Netherlands, BID brings together businesses, knowledge institutions, government representatives and industry leaders to foster collaboration, knowledge-exchange and innovation – with the aim of solving some of society’s biggest challenges.

The goal

As Brabant Innovation Days evolved (the one-day event in Tokyo in 2026 was the 6th edition), the organisers wanted to refresh the platform’s messaging and narrative to ensure its value proposition remained relevant, distinctive, and compelling. The objective was to clearly articulate BID’s role in connecting Brabant’s innovation ecosystems with global tech hubs like Japan, South Korea, Singapore and the United States, while creating a consistent communications foundation that could be used across events, channels and stakeholder groups.

At the same time, the team required communications support for Brabant Innovation Day 2026 in Tokyo, including strategic messaging, communications planning, content creation, a social media campaign, website support, and stakeholder communications. We also supported the launch of Brabant Innovation Spotlight, a healthcare-focused spin-off event at Expo 2025 Osaka that helped extend engagement beyond the flagship annual event.

The result

Stampa developed the underlying messaging framework, key messages and narrative for Brabant Innovation Days, creating a strong communications foundation that could support both the flagship event and other platform activities. The resulting positioning reinforced BIDs role as a connector between Brabant’s innovation ecosystem and international partners.

Building on this foundation, we delivered the communications programme for Brabant Innovation Day 2026, developing content and materials across multiple channels and touchpoints. Under the theme ‘From Promise to Practice: How Japan and the Netherlands Power the Future of Compute’, the event brought together stakeholders from the Dutch and Japanese high-tech ecosystems to explore collaboration opportunities in semiconductors, photonics, and advanced manufacturing.

We also supported communications for Brabant Innovation Spotlight, helping establish an additional platform moment that complemented the flagship event and reflected BID’s growing ambition to build year-round international engagement and collaboration.
