Abigail advises clients on PR, internal and crisis communications and leads our Benelux corporate content practice. Abigail is a former bureau chief of Reuters Netherlands, where she led a large team of multimedia journalists. As a Reuters correspondent in London and Rome, she covered areas including equities, macroeconomics and forex. Abigail is native English and speaks Dutch, Italian, French and rusty Russian.
Founder and director
Jos advises our clients on PR, internal and crisis communications. He also specialises in integrated reporting and helps produce some award-winning sustainability reports for our clients. Before Stampa, Jos worked as a journalist for Associated Press and Reuters and as a freelance writer for Elsevier, Het Financieele Dagblad and Adformatie among others. Jos is fluent in English, German and Italian.
Founder and director
Marina specialises in public and investor relations, crisis communications and also advises in M&A situations. Before Stampa, she coordinated the economics reporting team for NOS Journaal and worked as a journalist for Bloomberg. Marina has also worked as an analyst at Deutsche Bank and as investor relations officer at Buhrmann (now Staples). Bilingual in Dutch and English, she has a working knowledge of French and German.
Founder and director
Heading Stampa’s London office, James advises clients on strategic content and PR. James spent 18 years in journalism before co-founding Stampa, with work appearing in the Financial Times, The Guardian, Marketing, World Business, Broadcast and Campaign. He now leads our corporate newsroom team for Coca-Cola, one of Stampa’s longest-standing clients. James also advises UpToDate, Sports Revolution, Stadia Solutions and Brandtix.
Gerrie has ten years’ experience supporting banking and asset management clients with their media relations, and has consulted on diverse projects, ranging from social media to crisis and transaction communications. He formerly worked as a financial journalist for the Financieele Dagblad, the Dutch public news broadcaster NOS Journaal, RTL Nieuws and RTL Z television news. Gerrie speaks native Dutch and is fluent in English.
Heleen de Graaf
As economics reporter for respected Dutch daily NRC Handelsblad, Heleen covered the financial sector, winning the prestigious De Tegel prize for outstanding journalism for her coverage of the takeover of ABN AMRO. She was also nominated for another distinguished journalism prize for a series on Shell. Previously, Heleen was Amsterdam bureau chief of Dow Jones Newswires and reporter for Dow Jones in Vienna. Heleen is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
Senior account director
Based in our London office, Stacy has extensive experience working in corporate, financial and consumer public relations, having advised clients including HSBC, BT and AXA. During her PR career, Stacy has worked at a senior level in London PR agencies, in-house at Abbey National, and also as a freelance consultant. She has particular expertise in UK media relations, securing regular coverage for our clients. At Stampa, Stacy heads our account teams for UpToDate, Sports Revolution, Brandtix and Stadia Solutions.
Senior account director
Marieke is a senior advisor on several content and PR accounts at Stampa, implementing communications strategies in sectors including FMCG, energy and financial services. She is a key member of our content team for The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola HBC, producing daily digital news and features and working with a network of contributors across Europe. Marieke has an MSc (cum laude) in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam. In addition to her native Dutch, Marieke speaks fluent English.
Barbara has over 20 years of journalistic experience. She was a reporter and deputy bureau chief for the financial section of De Telegraaf, gaining deep knowledge of financial services, asset management, real estate, infrastructure and related industries. Barbara was nominated for the international Citi Journalism Awards for Excellence. Her career has also included stints at the Wall Street Journal. Barbara is fluent in Dutch and English, speaks conversational French and understands German.
Lara has over 15 years experience as a journalist in the UK and her native South Africa, including as a correspondent for Reuters in London. She honed her internal communications skills as senior speechwriter at ABN AMRO and now produces and edits our clients’ magazines, intranets and newsletters. Lara has a journalism degree from Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa. In addition to her native English, Lara speaks conversational Dutch.
Based in our Belgian office in Brussels, Pieter is an expert in content marketing, PR and digital communications. Before joining Stampa, he was a digital marketer at insurer P&V Group, gaining experience in content marketing, SEO and website construction. Pieter is also an experienced copywriter and publication manager who has worked for companies including ING, Amonis and Electrabel. He was previously a journalist at Het Laatste Nieuws. In addition to his native Dutch, Pieter speaks fluent French and English.
Johann combines media analysis with writing, translating and editing, working on newsletters, annual reports and web content. Johann developed his media analysis skills at one of the UK’s largest media monitoring companies and the Amsterdam office of an international PR firm. Born and raised in Ireland, Johann studied German and Dutch at the University of Hull. A native English speaker and fluent in Dutch, he also has a working knowledge of German and French.
Carla is a member of Stampa’s media analysis team, and also works as part of our Coca-Cola editorial unit, writing news and features for The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola HBC. Before joining Stampa, she taught English in secondary schools, subtitled for Dutch television and worked as a freelance translator. Native Dutch and fluent in English, Carla holds master’s degrees in English language and culture as well as education.
Sara heads Stampa’s media analysis team. With her insightful and precise monitoring and analysis – crucial for all PR accounts at Stampa – Sara gives our clients a head start. Before joining Stampa, Sara worked in media analysis for 12 years at another international PR agency. Sara holds an MSc in History from the University of Amsterdam. Native Dutch and fluent in English, Sara also has a working knowledge of French, German and Spanish.
Marieke Koelewijn is a member of Stampa’s media analysis team. She previously worked as an invigilator and marker for the International English Language Testing System, as the editor of a Dutch linguistic database and as a media analyst, freelance translator and subtitler. Native Dutch, Marieke holds postgraduate degrees in English language and culture and literary studies and is working on a PhD in English literature at the University of Amsterdam.
Lindsay grew up a stone’s throw from our Amsterdam office but took a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Edinburgh before joining Stampa’s media analysis team in the Netherlands. With his capacity as a bilingual native Dutch and English speaker and his critical analysis skills, he is expertly equipped to provide round-the-clock media monitoring, analysis and reporting to clients. Lindsay also assists with writing, translating and editing projects.
Frances has over 25 years design experience, including working for leading advertising agencies like BBH, Saatchi & Saatchi and Addison. Frances specialises in brand communications and corporate reports. She has partnered with Stampa on many projects, including digital and printed reports, employee magazines and infographics. Much of this has been for our long-standing client, Coca-Cola. She has also created work for Oxfam and OECD.
Animator & illustrator
Bas has worked in interactive media for many years. He began by making screensavers, e-cards and innovative websites, before moving on to work in children’s publishing and education. Nowadays, he provides animated explainer videos and infographics, guiding the whole process from scriptwriting and storyboarding to voiceover and sound design.
Amsterdam Office manager
Before joining Stampa, Désirée spent over 10 years working in office management and executive administration for leading broadcasters, including NTR. She has also worked in the travel industry, including several years in Greece, where she represented Dutch tour operators and worked as a reservation manager. Her time there not only gave Désirée formidable organisational and people management skills, but also a good command of Greek.
London Office manager
Heather is Stampa’s Office Manager in London, co-ordinating our finances and assisting with HR. Prior to joining Stampa, Heather worked as a Civil Servant for the Ministry Of Justice for over 20 years. She has a wide variety of experience, including roles in people management, human resources, business planning and project management.
